About

David Griffith

Same as most people in home health, I got into this industry because it was a job. A paycheck to provide for my family. What kept me here is that the leaders ahead of me let me hold the baton and run with ideas.

Thirteen years later I've sat at every seat in this ecosystem worth sitting at. I started on the support phones at the dominant home health EMR vendor and spent five years there learning the system from the inside. Then I went inside agencies and led EMR strategy through a 10x expansion across 29 branches and 7 states. Then ran Health Applications Strategy and Innovation for another agency, where I led the intelligent automation build that became a published third-party case study and generated more than $300k in annual savings in a single quarter. Along the way I was Founding Head of Customer Success at a SaaS startup, advised a few others, and started DCC Associates with my partners.

The thread through all of it is the same. Listen carefully, ask the questions no one else is asking, and do the work.

I have a knack for cutting through the noise. It's the thing people consistently say about me and the thing I get paid for. When an agency is buried under 15 vendor pitches and can't tell which one matters, I can tell them. When a SaaS founder is building something the operators won't use, I can show them why. When an agency leader knows something is off but can't name it, I can usually name it.

I'm not interested in long contracts or strategy decks that sit on a shelf. I work directly inside the workflow, find the gap, and help fix it. Then I leave. The work should stick after I'm gone, or it wasn't worth doing.

Today I'm Managing Partner at DCC Associates. I also run Abilene AI, helping small businesses in West Texas use AI in ways that are actually practical. I was named to the Home Health Care News Future Leaders Class of 2026, and I'll be at the FUTURE Conference in Austin in August.

If you're stuck on something hard, I'd like to hear about it.

“David is the person you always want to work on projects with. His drive to keep the team on task, ensure completion of projects, and willingness to jump in whenever needed are just a few of his qualities.”
